| Kia ora! Join our public Moth count adventures on the West Coast. Throughout Moth week we have 8 events set up for enthusiasts to come along and join the experience. Each of the 8 events will be in different locations around the central West Coast. A Basic Light Trap will be set up with a spot light and white sheeting as well as some delicious ripened fruit painted on the sheet to attract maximum mothage! All Moth Observations will be recorded on the iNaturalist App. Locations are set below but please join our Facebook Group for up to date locations as these may change on the day due to weather or unavailability. Each night will be from approx 10pm – Midnight.
