Below are National Moth Week endorsed third-party apps to use to identify and submit photos for data submission to during Moth Week.

Using the iNaturalist app you can upload a photo of a moth (or any other insect, arachnid, or plant) for identification easily. Any moth photos you submit through iNat during National Moth Week are automatically added to the National Moth Week project!
Using the app is super simple.

Project Noah has been in partnership with National Moth Week for over 10 years to amplify mothing awareness and conservation every summer. National Moth Week participants are encouraged to submit their moth photos into Project Noah’s Moths of the World Mission
