Bellavista Cloud Forest, at 2 hours from the capital city / airport of Quito Ecuador, is hosting a “Moth Week” event this year! Just to give an idea of how incredibly biodiverse the cloud forest is here at Bellavista — in 2015, 70 species of Noctuidae moths were identified, that are NEW TO SCIENCE! Come and experience this incredible place for yourselves. We will be putting out lights and sheets to atrract moths every evening, and lodging with meals , and transport from Quito are available.
