Live in or near Philadelphia? The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University will help you get psyched for National Moth Week with Prep for Moth Week, an educational program for adults, taking place on July 15.
Stephen Mason, curatorial assistant in entomology, will offer an introduction to insects and moths, especially those found locally. Attendees will tour the Lepidoptera specimens in the academy’s historic entomology collection and learn about field collection and pinning methods.
