Welcome, South Dakota, USA!

As of today, National Moth Week will officially be marked with events in all 50 US states.  The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks agency has registered activities at its Rapid City Outdoor Campus during National Moth Week for its Young Naturalist Program for ages 5 to 7.
Children will be learning the differences between butterflies and moths and how they go from eggs to adults. They’ll also go on a hike to look for them in the woods. These activities reflect the educational mission of National Moth Week and help to lay the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of nature and the environment.
