Not all Moth Week events are held in the woods at night. Bill Evans will lead a morning moth walk in a parking lot.
Sunday July 29th
Morning moth walk through the City of Ithaca, NY. 7AM-10AM. Meet at southwest corner of Wegman’s parking lot at 7AM. This field trip will be led by Bill Evans. Bill will discuss the known and hypothesized impacts of artificial light on moths while the group walks toward Home Depot and back checking the vicinity of artificial lights for moths (~3-mile roundtrip walk).
