Since the group opened its doors earlier this year to images taken at any time of year, the numbers of members has seen a startling increase to well over 500 members and an astonishing 25,000+ images.

If you are not already a member, then join now — we are waiting to see your moth images! If you do not have a Flickr account it is easy to get one and upload your images.

The group is looking for any images of moths — eggs, larvae, pupae and adults, as well as light setups, event photos, and even your favorite bait ingredients!

When adding to the group please Tag your images with “National Moth Week”. If taken during NMW or at a NMW event please tag “National Moth Week 2016” (or the year it was taken).

The added value is that each time an image is added to the group, a data point is created using information you have added like tags, species name and geotags for researchers, scientists and NMW partners to use.
